Dramatic Delights de Daumier
Six cards, six perfectly human moments. Drawn by Honoré Daumier (1808–1879), one of the most famous satirists of 19th-century Paris, whose lithographs captured lawyers, readers, travelers, and theatre-goers in all their ridiculous glory.
Each card pairs a digitally enhanced Daumier original with a contemporary caption: encouragement for the person figuring it out, love for someone chosen carefully (like a good melon), and a horrified Madame for when things are just terrible. Learn more about Daumier here.

Honoré Daumier (1808–1879) spent his career drawing Parisians being very much themselves: lawyers performing, readers disappearing into books, and travelers suffering quietly in railway carriages. Learn more about the dramatic, delightful drawings of Daumier here.
