La Patte de Lapin creates quietly whimsical paper goods shaped by wit, warmth, a sense of affectionate absurdity. Each design is intended as a small cultural object: moments of humor, observation and emotional intelligence that live comfortably among books, flowers, and handwritten notes.

Greeting Cards
Inspired by French art, philosophy, language and cuisine, La Patte de Lapin tends to favor subtlety over bright punchlines or overt sentimentality. Perched on shelves in independent bookstores, cafés, museum shops and artsy gift boutiques, the cards often feel like little discoveries: something that makes someone smile first, then look closer.
People who enjoy thoughtful design, language, and understated humor often find themselves picking up more than one. Customers buy for specific occasions and keep small collections on hand for those everyday, impromptu moments – the ones that call for the flourish of some paper-based je ne sais quoi. The cards convey tenderness, taste, and intelligence without trying too hard.
At heart, these small social signals are a vessel for cultivating moments of emotional life: paper charms that make correspondence feel dignified, intentional and delightful.
About the Founder
After years living as a digital nomad, I now think of France as my “first love.” At 17, I took my maiden voyage leaving my birth country to study abroad in near small town in Haute-Marne. I fell in love with France, and came back to work in Paris and later Dijon. Over the years, France is a place I’ve continued to return to: each time relishing in the comforts of familiarity, yet always uncovering something new in its complex history, rich culture, and gorgeous landscapes.
As with most premier amours, my relationship with this place is layered, both with love and heartbreak. France is often romanticized around the world, and while this romance is rooted in reality, real life there is not simply la vie en rose. My intention is to highlight the true colors of France as I see them – and to use those hues to remember truth, spark inspiration, and enliven human connection.
